Due to the wet conditions, Pullen’s funfair will be at the Ethel Ward site a week later than planned. They will be open from 18 to 21 April 2024. Please note that the car park at the site will not be in use from 14 April 2024 so that the funfair can set up.

Haxby Town Council is considering replacing some of the equipment in the children’s play areas at the Ethel Ward and Mancroft sites.
Therefore, the council would like to know residents’ view on the preferred type(s) of play equipment, e.g. swings, slides, climbing frames etc.

PRECEPT 2024-25
Haxby Town Council has taken the difficult decision to increase the precept for 2024-25. The increase per household is 4.99%.
For the average ‘band D’ property, this will mean an increase of £2.24 per year or just over 4p per week.
