We’ve launched a new service that sends out free air pollution alerts and health advice to residents and visitors most likely to be affected by air pollution.
The York Air Alert service, which is funded by DEFRA, gives advanced warning air pollution events via text, email or voicemail and users can select alerts for different areas of the city, depending on where they live or work.
